Ben’s Friends is proud to announce the launch of it’s new live Twitter chat. Each Twitter chat topic will run several times in a given month in order to ensure that each and every person in our global membership has at least one chance to participate. The goal of these chats is to encourage as much involvement as possible across all of Ben’s Friends 30+ rare disease communuties and amongst it’s over 18,000 members. In addition, it is open to anybody who wishes to participate and Ben’s Friends is keen to get as many folks involved as possible. Going forward, the plan is to run a monthly chat with a new topic and focus each month.
Ben Munoz, co-founder of Ben’s Friends, “We are very excited about the launch of our new monthly Twitter chat sessions. It will bring our rapidly growing organization closer and give each of our members a chance to share their thoughts, views and experiences to a broader audience and learn something at the same time. Also, it will help to get the word out about what we are doing and how we are helping improve the lives of so many people with rare diseases globally.”
The focus of this month’s Twitter chat will be:
How the rare disease online support communities of Ben’s Friends have helped me. The chat will be moderated by John Stamler from Ben’s Friends who has survived one rare disease and is living with another one.
