Lionsnaps

Lion Snaps
Lion Snaps were created to remind us that others have bigger struggles than we do. Just the simple task of walking can be a challenge for some. No matter what life gives us we have to take it one day at a time and one step at a time. All money raised will go to The AVMsurvivors Network and Bens Friends.....Thank you To place an order for a $2 donation please Email LionSnaps@verizon.net

Brainbows

Brainbows
Brainbows are hair bows that were created with the intention of raising awareness of AVMs as well as raising money for The Aneurysm and AVM Foundation. AVM survivor, and AVMsurvivors.org member Lindsey Troop (age 12) began selling the bows, after her friends became excited about her designs. They have since become very popular, so Lindsey and her mom now work on this project together. All Profit from the sale of Brainbows goes to the foundation (taafonline.org).

Books/Movies

Fireworks on the Brain
The book describes the life of Jacob Klompstra, age 60, who suffered from ADHD his entire life, but was only recently diagnosed. It is the first book ever to describe living for 60 years with ADHD from the point of view of someone with ADHD. "Being a permanent outsider is unimaginably lonely. I've been searching all my life for acceptance, for a place where I can find tranquillity and peace of mind."
